On the 4th of April, 2014, Students from the respective communities of West Jerusalem, Tsur Hadasa, Jordan Valley, East Jerusalem, Muath Bin Jabal, and Al Himma gathered at the Sharhabil Ben Hassneh ecological park “SHE” for a two days Youth camp. Regional Youth camps are held several times a year and falls under the Good Water Neighbours project that was initiated by Friends of the Earth Middle East (FoEME) in 2001 to raise awareness to the shared water problems facing Palestinian, Jordanian, and Israeli societies.
During their stay at park, the students engaged in multiple activities driven from the “Water Resource Guide” produced by FoEME and intended to serve as a reference in the field of water conservation best practices. Not only did the 
activities focus on raising awareness to the critical water situation in the region, but they also enforced the fact that once water conservation best practices are implemented water crisis can be solved.
Later on, the students got a feel of the Jordanian Bedouin life style by paying a visit to the nomads living in the Ecopark. After a long hike to the Wadi Ziglab, the students headed back to the Eco lodges and were briefed about the Eco facilities that show case water conservation.
Empowered with an extensive knowledge about the critical water situation in the region, the students bid their farewells and headed to their communities with a 
positive outlook for a common future with their neighbors whereby they play an active role on solving water crisis.
