Peretz Spent his Last Day in Office in a Conference in Jordan

Israeli Minister of Environment and MK (Hatnua) Amir Peretz’ resignation came into effect yesterday “11th of November”. Peretz spent his last day as a Minister in Jordan where he delivered a speech in a conference organized by Friends of the Earth for the Rehabilitation of the Jordan River.DSCN6354

Peretz congratulated King Abdullah stating that “the king has done everything possible to help create a good atmosphere in the Middle East,” Peretz appealed with all parties in the region saying “the future is in our hands, let’s do something for the sake of our children”

Member of Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, MK Omer Bar- Lev (Labour) called for handing control of the Arab neighborhoods in East Jerusalem to the Palestinian Authority.
